I have been working away like a little beaver on my clients’ projects and I hardly ever lift my head except to smile that I am in my own home doing what I want to do. I do still walk every day though – down to the beach and I often rattle on around the rocks to the next bay and back again depending on the tides. It is a refreshing joy to be near the water.
I have just published my latest cookbook, Low FODMAP Menus for Irritable Bowel Syndrome and it is out there in the world at last. If any of you are interested in knowing a bit more about it, have a look HERE. It is for sale as a PDF and also as a print copy on Amazon HERE.
Anyway, I have a new project in the works – I am starting another blog, yes, yet another one. Much of the freelance work I have been doing has been with relatively new bloggers and they are mostly lost or close enough to lost. My new site is called Bloglosophy and I am currently filling it with all the basic information new bloggers need. There are several very big, well-known sites who talk about blogging like Social Triggers, Boost Blog Traffic, Digital Marketer, The Smart Passive Income and Blog Marketing Academy along with several others, but they all assume that you know the basics and usually more than the basics. My posts will be for the real newbie, telling you what to put on your sidebar, how to set up an SEO plugin and use it, the best plugins to start with etc. I am still setting it up and filling it so don’t take a peep yet. I will make a big announcement when I am really to take it for a spin in public.
I recently had a big birthday and somehow managed to sail on through it unscathed. The best thing to do with these beastly big-zero birthdays is to be too busy to notice. It worked for me. We did however go out for dinner at a wonderful degustation menu restaurant – the best in town – with the extended family and a great time was had by all, especially by our palates.
That’s you all up to date now and I will be in touch soon.
